Some of the biggest names of Bollywood are coming together for a special song in Bombay Talkies, titled Apna Bombay Talkies. The list is quite impressive, and actually the song features so many people that are coming together on screen for the first time, or people that we just didn’t expect to see on screen again – like a bunch of Bollywood exes! Take a closer look at who’s featuring in this special song.
The list includes: Shahid Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Imran Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Sridevi, Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Rani Mukerji, Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Saif Ali Khan.
That means that we’ll be seeing Shahid, Priyanka, Kareena and Saif sharing screen-space, which is really not something we expected to see anytime soon. It’s also the first time that Sonam and Anil will be seen on-screen together! Interestingly, the song also features 20 different singers to voice for the 20 actors – something that hasn’t been done yet.
The list of singers include: Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Kavita Krishnamoorthy, SP Balasubramaniam, Abhijeet, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Mohit Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, Sudhesh Bhosle, Shreya Ghosal, Shilpa Rao, Udit Narayan, KK and Sukhwinder Singh. They have roped in the singers keeping the actors in mind, so I’m guessing we’re going to hear Abhijeet voicing for Shah Rukh and Mohit singing for Ranbir (since Mohit sang almost the entire Rockstar soundtrack).
