Rajinikanth sung his first Hindi song for A R Rahman in Kochadaiyaan

Superstar Rajinikanth sung his first ever Hindi song in his entire career for the music maestro A R Rahman, which would be featured in his daughter's directorial movie Kochadaiyaan.

Kochadaiyaan, directed by Indian icon Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya, is a bilingual movie that will be featured in different versions like in Tamil and Hindi. The superstar has sung for the Hindi version, which is actually a translation of the Tamil one. While the lyrics in Tamil language are penned down by the prolific and renowned Vairamuthu, the Hindi translation has been carried out by Irshad Kamil.
The song in question is on the subject of Rajini's beliefs and philosophies. For example, one of his beliefs is that man loves land, but in the end land eats him when he becomes greedy.

Oscar winner A R Rahman has composed the music for the song. Like the rest of India, Rahman too is a Rajini fan and shares his beliefs. Despite the fact that Rajini had sung a Tamil song earlier in one of his films, this would be for the first time ever in his career-span where he has sung in a Hindi language. It is being said that the song is more on the lines of a narration.
